James M. Gulley

James M. Gulley, co-founder of Cordts & Gulley, PLLC, was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Danville, Kentucky where he graduated from high school in 1985. From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Gulley focused his practice in Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation. In January 2002, Mr. Gulley co-founded Cordts & Gulley, PLLC, with Bradley J. Cordts.  

Mr. Gulley has tried cases in state and federal courts, and he has represented criminal defendants in Federal Courts in Shelby County, Tennessee, and Davidson County, Tennessee. He has also represented criminal defendants in state courts throughout West Tennessee. He has successfully litigated cases ranging from will contests, premises liability lawsuits and numerous personal injury cases to criminal cases involving murder, especially aggravated robbery, DUI, aggravated assault, and white collar crime. Mr. Gulley has represented more than two thousand criminal defendants since 1994.
